Pioneers has become the newest member of OneStory, seeking to engage unreached people groups together with other Great Commission agencies, churches and individuals.
Tom Tatlow, a member of Pioneers’ Thai Training Team notes that, “although many of our teams have been involved in Chronological Bible Storying and other oral strategies, the OneStory partnership will benefit our teams with the other agency’s strengths such as Wycliffe’s experience in checking of our Bible stories for accuracy, and TWR’s experience in utilizing the media to ensure the stories are distributed as widely as possible.”
Pioneers was co-founded in 1979 by Ted Fletcher, former national sales manager for The Wall Street Journal and currently has bases in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. An evangelical, interdenominational mission with more than 2,400 international members serving on 200 teams in 95 countries, Pioneers mobilizes teams to glorify God among unreached people groups by initiating church-planting movements in partnership with local churches.
